About Us

The brainchild of Jeffrey Rich, BS, LMT, The Guild was formed in the Fall of 2006 by a group of five therapists:

Shaped and refined by hours of discussions with massage students and colleagues, the Guild was ultimately born with the simple mission of education and support for the Massage Therapy community.

Here's how we aim to do just that: our basic idea is that education about massage therapy for the public, medical communities, and for therapists themselves supports the profession by dispelling long-held myths about massage therapy, and by generating a strong demand for this amazing health-maintenance tool once the true benefits are known.

We believe strongly in our chosen profession, and are dedicated to elevating its status and propelling it into the future. We welcome you along for the ride!
