The Guild's Mission

The Guild is a non-profit, educational organization dedicated to educating the general public and medical communities about the documented benefits of Massage Therapy, and to facilitating education, continuing education, and professional development opportunities for the community of professional Licensed Massage Therapists.

We support this mission by bringing high-quality, affordable massage continuing education to the Huntsville area, speaking with physicians and healthcare providers about the benefits of massage and the inclusion of massage in regular health maintenance programs, and giving talks and seminars to the public to build the demand for quality massage services. Education builds demand and an informed consumer base which helps our profession. We're very excited to begin this adventure with you!

• May 9-11, 2008 -- Continuing Education Class:
  Massage for People Living with Cancer, 22 CEUs. Back by popular demand! This course is a basic training for massage practitioners and other professional touch therapists for working with people living with cancer, both near and long-term survivors and those currently undergoing treatment. This course is an excellent class for every touch therapist working with the medically frail, and not just for those working with people living with and surviving cancer.

Looking to the Future
