• What: a training class providing 22 CEU's for massage therapists.

This course offers valuable information to every massage therapist on:

• opening the heart to those with serious illness
• dispelling the myths of metastasis - when it is safe to massage and why
• adjustments that must be made in your massage for clients who:
• are undergoing chemotherapy or radiation or who have a history of it
• have had surgical or medical procedures and/or lymph node removal
• are at risk for lymphedema – how to make more intelligent determination of this
• working with clients who have IVs, Ports, Central lines
• clients whose systems are overloaded from stresses of receiving treatment
• how to perform more informed intake with clients who have a history of cancer treatment
• perform a supervised massage session with a person who has undergone cancer treatment
